Education
Introduction to Trading
My introduction to trading was brutal and formative. Early on I put up a large stake on MetaTrader 4, a $10,000 bet that I lost outright. Instead of quitting, that loss became my education. I learned the hard realities of risk, position sizing, and the emotional work required to trade consistently. Those lessons are still the backbone of how I teach and trade today.
Professional Journey
I co-founded AstroFX and helped build it into one of the UK’s most visible trading education outfits. In 2019 I launched Ezra Capital to formalize my approach. Ezra Capital was a trading and education firm focused on practical, repeatable methods for forex and crypto markets. Ezra Capital is the product of years of live trading, thousands of hours of study, and a belief that good traders are made, not born.
Practical Value & Education Approach
The practical value I bring to traders is a combination of technical frameworks and mindset training. I emphasize: risk management above hero trades; process over outcomes; learning from failure; and building a repeatable approach that fits each trader’s temperament. My students learn to read price structure, manage risk using clear rules, and develop the emotional control required to survive and scale in leveraged markets.

My goal is to give people the tools to trade with clarity, not to sell a fantasy. Trading is difficult; the aim is to make it teachable and manageable.
Personal Values & Motivations
A few personal notes: I’m driven by the idea of financial freedom, intellectual freedom, and the freedom to create. I’m also a believer in reinvesting what I learn back into the trader community: mentorship, structured training, and open conversations about both successes and failures.

Trading Philosophy & Transparency
Transparency is central to my approach. I publish live results and performance where appropriate. For example, my Myfxbook “Personal 5K Challenge” track record is public and shows substantial growth (the challenge achieved very large percentage gains while also demonstrating significant drawdowns). I trade with leverage on MT4 and keep my performance transparent so students and clients can see real outcomes and the real risks involved. Teaching & Community Building
Teaching and community building are core to what I do. I run the Ezra Capital FX Trading Floor which is a highly active Telegram community and has become a hub for trade ideas, live analysis, and trader development (the channel reaches well into the hundreds of thousands of members). I also produce regular educational content, market analysis, and live setups that help traders at different levels improve their decision making and risk management.
Broader Projects & Cultural Work
Beyond trading and education, I’ve pursued projects that connect finance with broader culture. Notably, I’ve been involved in film projects exploring the rise of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, a creative extension of my interest in how digital assets are reshaping finance and society.
